Holiday Joys

I expect everyone is in warp speed getting things done before the Holiday's before all the fun is in full swing!  I can hardly wait to have all my family home at the family farm and we will have a few days of intense fun and togetherness.  It's something we savour as a family, surrounding our Mum (no I'm not from England, just Canadian!) with all her kiddos, our spouses and children and great grands.  It just doesn't get any better than that!

This is a photo my sister Kellie captured last Christmas, that's our Mum at the family farm and it's home to we four girls.

If you caught my last post, you will know I'm continuing to recover from my little hospital vacation.  Doing much better but it still requires lots of changes as I  manage the challenges of fibromyalgia, so not much painting going on here.

I've got a lively piece on the go, pictured above, just waiting for the crackle to dry then on to the next step.  And a snippet of a special piece I did for Christmas, it has a story, a soul if you would and I am moved each time I see, hope the 'recepient' will feel the same :-) (Photo quality not the best, sorry!)

So to all of you near and far, have yourselves a love saturated, laughter filled Holiday!

From my heart to yours!

Holidays and Hospital Vacations!

#110 Vault of Heaven 10x10" -$40
Well it's here, December that is and Holiday preparations are in full swing!

November ended with a bang for me health wise.  I wound up taking My first ride in an ambulance and had a little vacation at the hospital, six days and three blood transfusions later I got to go home :-)  Apparently I had a lesion in my stomach that dropped my blood count from about 127 to 61, I passed out, rearranged my face a little, (busted out a tooth, cut lip, swollen nose black eyes)  all quite alarming for my poor husband and family.  I can't say enough how appreciative I am, from the ambulance attendants to the nurses and doctors that looked after me. My family and neighbours, all were wonderful and I can't thank them enough.

#87 20x16" Acrylic on Watercolour paper mounted on wood panel-  SOLD
So I'm home, weak, but with a better plan for managing my fibromyalgia pain and sever chronic sleep loss, the difference it's making is truly the silver lining!

So painting is on the back burner, except for one small piece I'm doing for someone special, the others pictured here I had just finished up before my 'little vacation.'

Happiest of Holiday wishes to one and all!
